I remember back when being a troon was more rare and seemed like it was more an individual thing, they might have a wacky name every once in a while, but generally it would be a nigga named Steve changing his name to Stephanie. Now though basically every troon has some cartoon character or fucking woo woo white people shit as their name, especially pooners. A pooner will want to say they're a man and at the same time dress like a complete faggot while calling themselves shit like Nex, Finn, Kai, Zephyr, or some other random ass shit that a parent would essentially never name a baby boy.

I can heavily agree on the TiM portion, but not so much on the TiF portion. They normally seem to fall into 2 camps, weird ass names that they identify with because they sound trans, or basic that fit an architype of guy they wish they could be. Maybe the later is what they hope their son would be, but I'm not sure.

Rin Penrose is a British V-Tuber whose primary gimmick is this contrived masculine "prince" persona:

As for why a prince would want to be a VTuber… It seems even the Royal Family has its secrets.

So basically a tomboy lol... but a stately, princely one as opposed to other "tomboy" V-Tubers like Oozora Subaru who are more casual and laid-back in their styles and personalities. At the same time, though, she identifies as "aromantic asexual", and her character's hair is in the asexual colors to reflect this. And that's not even getting into her obsession with IKEA and their "blåhaj" shark plushies, a very well-known symbol of the transgender community.

The "female prince" concept is nothing new, and reminds me of Snailords / Aidan Arroyal, an "anesexual" Vietnamese-American webcomic / Webtoon artist and the creator of Freaking Romance who went from "genderfluid" to "trans man", later caught up in a fair bit of drama, and is a bit of a lolcow of her own.

My general impression of Rin Penrose is that she's sort of like the gender-reversed version of F1NN5TER, in that she treads dangerously close to emulating the opposite gender while stopping short of actually coming out or transitioning for real. But as we all know, even F1NN5TER himself wasn't immune to the allure of transitioning and HRT...

She used to have another V-Tuber channel with a completely different persona (albeit still with the same blåhaj enthusiasm, reportedly), but she nuked most of the videos on that channel in 2023 around a year after creating Rin, and only a few traces have survived.

Man, V-Tubers are just cringe in general. She's 30 years old and still living with her mommy "Gin Penrose". Heck in that video she even does the same "snail" symbolism as Snailords.

I give it 1-2 years tops before she officially troons out.

Rin's blåhaj addiction is what really seals the deal. She might still be she-her-ing all the way, but who knows how long that'll hold up for.

This, combined with him already crossdressing and being short enough to actually look like a woman and not be an obvious troon unless fans recognize him.

Playboi Carti hangs out with all the other 3 rappers mentioned and also wore a thong to a show. Most Uzi fans are also Carti fans, so Uzi and Carti might groom out together. I would have agreed a few years ago but his recent vids he seems to have dropped that persona. I guess it helps to have someone sue you.
