Shame I missed this though

Dunno why Co-op would take like 10+ years for RWS to implement. They implemented deathmatch and people have made custom coop maps.

There's a lot more on their roadmap right now that is slightly more interesting. Like steam workshop and controller support. They also alluded at one point to potentially new content one day.

The other theory is a bit of a stretch, but here we go. There was a thread in the official postal forums on speculation on what is next. Someone mentioned "Postal 2.5" and Toploader said that he is warm.

As such, I predict a full-fledged Postal 2 expansion. Again, a stretch and Top could just be talking about steam workshop support and things, but...

Most likely the former since they don't have enough money to do the latter.

They're barely scraping by right now.

After Postal 2 they updated it and created an expansion pack. Then they outsourced development of Postal 3 to a Russian developer. And it took like 5 years for them to put out a really shitty game. After that they put Postal 2 on Steam and started updating it for modern operating systems. As well as promising to implement more content later on down the line.

Scuttlebutt says that they don't have enough money right now to create a Postal 4 though.

I have the original Postal, the Windows NT 4.0 / Windows 95 Pentium 90 16 Mb 256 color SVGA version.

I tried playing on POSTAL difficulty. Everyone is out to kill you, you're not allowed to store health items and you're only allowed one save per map. So to do the objectives, you have to do a perfect stealth run (which is a little easier because they give you unlimited radars from the start). Luckily, the game actually has working stealth. I tried to hide in the foliage at one point, but they do nothing except obstruct your view as NPCs can still see you hiding in them. Damn, it's hard. The only way to get through is to get your hands on a decent weapon. The shotgun works nice for the most part, and it can be silenced (though I can't get my hands on one), but you seriously need a double-barrel or a sniper rifle, and good luck finding those without enhanced mode.

Depends on what those cards are. They better equal up to $7.99 (or whatever equal amount it is in foreign currency) to get Paradise Lost once the sale for it ends. On that same note, be nice if Steam sold $10 cards so I don't have to get $20.

Little spoiler/tip for Paradise Lost: For those on the mission to find stuff for Mike, the mad cow zombie god, if you look near the napalm factory (now a robot factory) in the pond, you'll find a sword that says when picked up "the Bitchs Katana".

It speaks for itself with just two posters and the CEO. Outside of Schaffer, one also has to love the mockery of day one DLC within PU Games.
