Time for another Comicsgate News Update!

Ethan VanSciver, more affectionately known as @FROG, recently passed the $1,000,000 mark on his second outing of Cyberfrog. The large influx of sales was likely due to the addition of two PVC collectibles added to the campaign. Rekt Planet is now officially the second largest crowdfunded comic in history, only slightly behind Order of Stick at $1,254,120. With Warcampaign out of the picture and Ethan appearing more amicable towards other disillusioned fans, perhaps OTS will be usurped in the coming months.

Everybodies favorite best boi, Zack, recently unveiled the Sashi pinup poster that would accompany his third Jawbreakers entry: Grand Bizarre. Zack claims that this character "Azaz" is crucial to the Jawbreakers universe, but neglected to reveal why, I guess we'll have to read to find out. He also announced in the same update that PANdemic and the Ballad of No would be closing on July the 17th. Kiwi's considering backing either of those two books have a little over two weeks to do so.

Sean Gordon Murphy also revealed new set of stretch goals after hitting his last target which expanded his book "The Plot Holes" from 144 to 160 pages. These new goals include upgrades to all versions of the book at 190K and dinner dates for 5 lucky backers at 200K, I wonder if Brian Visaggio will be joining them for dinner?

And everybodies favorite punching bag/perpetual victim Jon Del Arroz recently took some shots at his eternal enemy Ethan in an update to Rekt Manlet. Jon had been experiencing issues with finding a reliable printer for his ashcan, which while remedied he couldn't help but snipe at @FROG. The return of JDA and Ethan's slap fighting will be a common theme of this particular news bulletin.

Continuing with tonight's top story of Jon and Ethan's eternal arguing, @FROG recently took a giant shit on Jon's latest indie project "The Cosmic Warrior."
It's rare that this reporter agree's with @FROG about anything, but in this case he's not wrong. The art, coloring and dialogue are all equally terrible. Ethan however didn't give Jon long to defend himself, before the worlds greatest hispanic voice in science fiction found himself blocked.
The latest twitter drama appears to be the backlash against Adam Post and his "design choices" over the sequel to his first comic College of the Dead.
Post appears to not take criticism well, insulting George Gatsis for his own work.

Preston Poulter aka @PocketJacks recently announced that he was connecting neophyte creators with comic book artists in a networking endeavor to help them get their projects off the ground.
For those not in the know, Poulter is currently running a comic creation contest, with a grand prize of $2000 going to the winner. Contestants must first pitch a character, then a 10 page script and the winner will gain the cash to put towards creating their comic project. Several familiar faces have already pitched including Thomas Roilup, Darth Lunga and Mecha McCheese. The first round of contestant pitches can be found below, the next round takes place in several weeks.
This reporter wishes all contestants good luck in the competition (except Lunga) who appears to have already rage quit and pulled out.
Continuing with the Preston Poulter theme; the amazing, the spectacular, the terrific, the great one, the peoples champion, your host The Hut recently released a video claiming that perpetual nobody and possible aids carrier DarkGift Comics would be challenging Poulter's claim to the Comicsgate trademark.
Further investigation reveals that Bleeding Cool also recently covered this story, however it slipped under the radar.
Fresh after being covered by Just Some Guy, Jon Del Arroz addresses the recent accusations against Sean Gordon Murphy by Brian Visaggio and other #metoo accusations plaguing the comics industry.
And finally your old buddy Rorshach talks about Tom King's comic pledge against abuse in the industry after recent allegations against Cameron Stewart and Warren Ellis.
That's all the news for now, obviously the #metoo and Adam Post stories take front and center.
