Probably not. In some ways, Da Merge provides him with the ultimate cop-out, which is probably why he's remained so enamoured of it. Think about it. G5 airs: Chris bitches and moans and grumbles, but then smugly declares 'Ah! But da true telling, among which, is da G4 Pony, which is still airing as I speak an' will do so for 5 more seasons yet. An' Night Star is da lead Pony. But I digress...' At the same time, he watches G5 on the quiet, decides that he loves it, especially when the Anal Cysts do, and then quietly changes his tune when he thinks that no one's looking, then pretends that he's always loved it, just like he did with Equestria Girls. Isn't it already a bit weirder than that? IIRC he's claiming that G4 Season 10 has been broadcast, and that Season 11 is being broadcast.
I wish he can show some proof that it's aired, like telling the plot scene-by-scene.
