Oh definitely. Although I think this is different from his usual complaints about life.
Normally, when Chris complains about normal people chores, he approaches the problem from the angle of "praise me for doing this hard, tedious work! (that every adult has to do)" Basically he bitches about "adulting". And really, "adulting" in the most mediocre, basic way. An example of that sort of bitching is Chris complaining when his mother tells him to put down the controller for five minutes to pick up the dog shit.
In comparison, the whining in this post takes on a different tone. His whining here is about how he's genuinely besieged by his ridiculous harpy of a mother. And the worst part is that he essentially can't say no. This is Chris complaining about being a slave to Barb. There's no end in sight (well, aside from Barb dying) and Chris is very aware of this.
The only relief he'll get is when Barb dies. And after Barb dies, the best case scenario is that he ends up being permanently poor, but at least not homeless.
Chris hasn't done all the math on the subject like we have here. But he's vaguely aware that the future is not looking good.

Barb doesn't keep him chained to her side. He could go places. I think winter is keeping him restricted a bit.
I think Chris is frustrated because there's a large enemy lurking (Barb's debt) that he can't see. He only knows what Barb tells him, and I don't think he has much faith in what Barb tells him. Or rather, not to say he doesn't trust Barb herself. I'm sure he trusts her fully, and instead he fully blames the evil credit card companies for suing her. A great way to characterize how Chris probably sees Barb's debt: rape in a dark alley.
Chris is frustrated because he wants to spend his money how he pleases. He wants to piss his money on stupid toys and gay shit. But he is always anxious about being surprised with a new bill or lawsuit.
Chris has zero anxiety regarding his cell phone bills or his minimum payments on his credit cards, or energy bills for the house. He pays those just fine.
I understand the toys, but the gay shit I don't understand. Do you mean like fruity drinks he thinks women buy, ugly bracelets, or penis shaped lolly pops.
Also, do you know anything more about Chris' current asspatter, she and her family seem to also be a bit on the spectrum.

All of those, except the penis shaped lollypops. Although you could probably sell Chris some and tell him they're clit shaped. He'd slurp on them all around town, very publicly. And then you can break the news to him after the fact.
Also when he's in the mood, he'll throw a bunch of money at performers at Impulse.
Once Chris learned he could get free money from people online, the genie was out of the bottle. He'll always beg for more money, regardless of need. (Although occasionally, a Barb surprise might leave him momentarily broke. It's not necessarily a long term thing though.)
Chris probably watched the news for once and realized that people are traveling to see their families, and they're buying gift for loved ones. I guess he finally realized a little too late that being a materialistic and demanding clown gets you nothing or nowhere in life.

More likely that Barb has him running all over town doing last minute errands. Or maybe Chris forgot to get her a gift.
Chris doesn't think about other people. I think it's a pretty safe bet that any time he posts anything, it relates back to him and his "stress"

Tomorrow he will be raging and foaming at the mouth because nobody sent him the expensive gifts he was demanding from everyone.
Chris will probably type something snooty and passive aggressive, which makes no sense given the situation. I hope that Chris realizes that only spoiled whores and trophy wives get what they want for Christmas; that should make him think twice about how he's been such a terrible person this past year.
Do Barb and Chris even exchange gifts anymore?
