Maybe. You are underestimating how much this world means to him. He is a pony. He is involved. He has a future. I cannot remember a time when he really discussed his actual real world earth 1288 future. This pony and Sonichu stuff though has a pass, present, and future. He wants it all to play out a certain way. So they can all be half-human one-third pony two-fifths sonichu princesses together talking about the joys of polyamorous bisexual interspecies relationships.

Chris is fine with changes that make it more like the way he wants. The way things are supposed to be. He fears changes that move the characters and worlds away from that. He no longer would belong and his dreams would never be realized.
