First time I've heard this. Stardust, Trixie, and Asyl were all printed on standard paper from my printer.the pages feel more like they belong in a coloring book than in an actual comic.
It's the merging of dreams and reality. Like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. The book is supposed to be an homage to the German Expressionist silent films of the 1920s, and lost films.Nasser, You are going to have to explain that to me cuz the shit really came out of left field.
You're supposed to come to your own conclusion of what's real or not. For a more modern day comparison, think Mulholland Drive or Lost Highway.
In either of those my interpretation is that that each of the main characters is having a dream or fantasy of what they wish their life was like. But each of those has 40 theories.
I suppose you could say that in Asyl, Lena is an insane woman in an asylum, but has this dream of being a normal person with a husband and a home. However, she can never escape her reality, and thus the ending.
I dont know if you read my other comics but i'll send you PDFs if you want. Most people think Trixie and Stardust have been better than Asyl. Could just be most people arent vibing with an homage to lost and silent film from 1920s Germany. His comic writing skills need a lot of work e
Not to shill, but me and Jason are relaunching one week from today.See if you can get that Spawn guy to do another book for you.

Sorry you didnt enjoy Asyl--but thank you for backing, and I hope you enjoy what I do next.
Next up is SCP, then Trixie 2, then Twilight Witch, then The Voynich Horror.
